Blackgrayink has been working on a personal artistic search since 2012. From a work done via the digital tool, is added the recovery via screen printing patterns, lace and old engravings. The composition of each painting is unique but is part of a thematic series. Her work focuses on the creation of robot portraits from photo-montages of female characters. Opposite of expressionism; the face is standardized, the portrait are made in a systematic way, face, gaze. The posture is treated in a symbolic way; as in religious iconography, objects become symbols, gestures become a sign.
